# Project Management

## General

Our Project Management module is the central hub for collaboration within your accounting team. It’s designed to help you create and manage projects, assign and track tasks, and streamline communication across your workflows. Whether you're closing the books, reconciling accounts, or coordinating month-end procedures, this module keeps your team aligned and organized—so nothing slips through the cracks.

## Projects

Projects are the first area that you will come across withing our Project Management module. On this page, you can do a filtered search of all of your projects by company name, assignee, or status.

We also have a chart that displays details about the projects that were created. These details include the project name, completion percentage, client, start + due date, assignees, and status.

**Add Project** - If you click the 'Add Project' button, a screen will pop-up, which allows you to enter the initial project details for any new project that you'd like to create. Once that project is created, you will it listed on the chart shown above.

## Tasks

In order to add tasks, you simply left click on the project's row and it will open up the task section. In this section, you can create tasks and assign them to your teammates.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://equility.gitbook.io/equility/project-management.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
